This film takes brutal revenge to the next level !!! Even though it gets slightly repetitive due to the nature of the cat and mouse dynamic it is still an entertaining watch where we see the monster hunter turn into a monster themselves.  The biggest thing for me in this film is how in the pursuit of revenge many other lives where taken by the killer leading the watcher to question whether revenge was really the best option when the negative fallout is so great.  Overall an entertaining watch with a satisfying end .

sadly I didn’t enjoy this film as much as I thought I would have to be honest.  I think largely due to the fact that I found the whole film to be much less tragic than others seem to. Obviously the life of Gelsomina is sad but there are almost no moments through the film that I find impactful or emotional. This however is just a matter of personal perspective. Fellini created a film that has some stunning shots and there were all round great performances just a shame the narrative didn’t move me how it was intended to.

No where near enough monkeys.
