I never knew THAT song from all the memes came from this movie 🤯. Im so gald I went in knowing absolutely nothing about this movie and it was sick to see how this unfolded. Visually after they get to the shimmer this movie is phenomenal!!! Especially everything to do with the lighthouse section. I only wished there was more to chew on with it's characters. I can definitely see Alex Garland pulling off the Elden Ring movie if it keeps it vibes from the lighthouse section. Minimal dialogue and pure visuals and vibes.

This was a sequel?????????? I knew nothing about this movie except that it had a sequel coming out which is apparently THE 5TH MOVIE in this series 😭. I only started watching this to have something to watch while studying and it definitely was decent. But the Israel name drop in the last 5 minutes of the movie was wild 😭

Brooo 😭😭😭✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️ Gooseworx wanted to make the End of Eva of TADC so bad its crazy. It's felt so weird watching this and only thinking about that and the fact that there was an E.O.E poster before this came out. To anybody that has seen this and E.O.E will automatically notice so many stylistic choices its crazy 😭. I mean I get it because E.O.E is like one of the greatest movies ever, but idk it felt more distracting to me instead of a neat homage to something they love. Other than that wow this movie has one of the weirdest finales. I wouldn't say its terrible, but it ain't great either. At least there was some real effort put into this unlike some other series. I'm still interested to see what Gooseworx does next tho. Ps. As a whole I'd probably give this series a 6.5/10.
