Doesn’t get much better than this. To start, the animation was absolutely stunning. From the vibrant world building colors to the minute details of dust falling off the guitar. The attention to details is surreal. The writing was pretty much perfect. Yeah some things were predictable, as most animated children movies tend to be. But they were executed to perfection every time so that it didn’t matter.  And the message of the story, while far from subtle, hit home for me. Was not planning for this movie to be that emotional.  “You don’t have to forgive him. But we shouldn’t forget him.” BARS. And shame on you Disney for placing your ads in the worst possible places imaginable.
