Dune

One of the greatest accomplishments in science-fiction filmmaking. Enthralling, engaging, stunning visuals and an incredible soundtrack, beautifully paced with great performances all around. Adapting a beloved novel with such dense political storytelling and complex themes of religion, power, and suffering into something this profound while delivering one of the most impressive displays of vfx artistry is unbelievable. Very few films captivate me so completely, and Dune does just that.
