Arrival

I enter a circle without beginning or end. I see the suffering that awaits me, and I smile. What is pain but a testament to what was loved? What is loss but a mirror to what was ever possessed? I don't choose the easy path. I choose the true one. Not to avoid pain, but to embrace it, as part of the story we are writing. In the end, every yes to life is also a yes to death. And I say: Yes.
