Burning

This movie told and crafted these characters and story very carefully, also with an interesting social commentary. Music helped to built some tension along with the performances of the main actors. Beautiful shot composition, a great direction, and a screenplay that gave you all you needed to know but also letting you place the missing pieces (if that make any sense). The "metaphor" (concept literally talked in the movie) is that the place you came from could mean you can hold power, money and land on your feet, or, on the other hand, you can just dream big and expect something better, knowing that you're still attached to the rules of society.
