It starts pretty funny, then it gets darker, but at the end it's just sad. Those poor animals, they don't deserve all those battles between the zoos and the egos. Neither Joe nor Carole were behaving good obviously, they just became greedy. Animals shouldn't be in cages, they shouldn't be attractions, they are not a circus or a theme park. Also, I do believe that Carole knows more than what she says. When she was talking about the death of his husband she always laughed when people asked her questions, she repeated over and over again the same words as she memorized it years before, and she also ruined that man's family. Jeff Lowe should be in jail too, definitely. So many people and animals suffered along these tragicomedy.
