Metropolis

This is so breathtaking. The scenes the effects everything it does not show that it was made in 1927 by a long shot. The ending was kind of weird though taking into account that for a chunk of the film it was going in the direction of the workers forming a revolution which they did but also criticizing it while at the end with the "head and hands can't work without the heart" its making it seem like the problem is that they just need a mediator which is not true, the workers wouldn't forget how used they were being like borderline slaves, just to at the end come into agreement with the leader who literally just wanted them dead. It just kind of seems like a stretch.
