Metropolis

The Endless film. Thos film lives in almost all sci-fi films to date from star wars and blade runner to 2001. The score is incredible and keeps your attention throughout even with the lack of any other sound. The cinematography is probably some of the best ever from jaw dropping shots of the city to the imagery of the sins. For 1927 it really is a masterpiece of film making and it makes the harsh truth that we may never see it's true full version even scarier. Although this film has been put through hell, the influence will live on forever.
