rewatched this because of my sweet sweet dolly parton. this whole movie was spoken through hyperboles and well-worded witticisms and i loved every second. movie was cast perfectly. give me that i slapped ouiser boudreaux t-shirt too.

I’ve been trying to think of a review for this for the past half hour but there’s genuinely no words I can think of that would do this musical any justice. My favorite Sondheim musical, and it’s his musical that deserves more. More fans, more theaters producing it, and more people understanding the human condition enough to do what they want and say what they mean. Everything just works so well, and Bobby is one of the most complex characters ever put into musical theater. It’s probably because I relate to Bobby on a molecular level, but that’s for another day. Raul Esparza put on an absolute masterclass too. Dude was otherworldly. Biggest Tony robbery in history I say. Also *Being Alive *is the best song to ever written for musical theater, and it isn’t much of a competition in my opinion.

vibes? immaculate (that house is 10/10) plot? all over the place stockard? channing WOMEN AT ITS FINEST

The finale of me watching *“The Conjuring” *franchise chronologically As many finales do, this one kind of falls flat, but is still a decent movie. This case was probably the most horrifying one the Warren’s faced because of the amount of demonic figures, but there wasn’t as much fighting against these demons as I wanted. The scares were still somewhat creative (even if some were predictable), and the family-oriented nature of the film made me feel a strong connection to the first two Conjuring movies. And even though I knew that fugly mirror was gonna make a reappearance, Dawn vomiting up blood and glass right after it got thrown out was insane to watch. It felt like laughing during a funeral sometimes. When Annabelle became giant and chased Judy I couldn’t take it seriously. Judy crawling at Lorraine like something out of Longlegs got me there too.
