The First Slam Dunk

although nothing new narratively, this was a blast (with a bit of sadness sprinkled on top).  the film makes you feel for these characters in a really short span, and it works for the most part. this is, of course, all coming from someone who’s never seen the Slam Dunk show or comics, so I bet if you’re already a fan it will be way easier to digest.
