Fallen Angels

"I hadn't expected Winter to come so soon." a beautiful film about love, loss, and ice cream. the interconnected narratives bring about in me a sense of both confusion and belonging- never being sure what comes next, what narrative is playing out. maybe I don't pay well enough attention to things. this movie felt like it waited for a good time to finally be watched by me. ill have to rewatch it to make a bit more sense of it all, but im able to find a sense of home in the hectic, stylish, dark nature of Fallen Angels. maybe things wait until they're just right to come into our lives, and wait further to decide that they'll stay. paths don't cross for no reason.
