I’ve been trying to process what to say for almost an hour… I still don’t know how to really say what I want to say. This was extraordinary.  Ryland Grace is great, and I LOVED the book but he just has dry humor. Ryan Gosling brings a fresh perspective to what that school teacher can be. He made this way more comical than the character in the book was and I loved that.  Don’t get me started on Rocky. I loved a ROCK from the book alone. The way they brought him to life in the movie destroyed me in so many ways.  Rocky, welcome to the club of my fave non human speaking favorite characters.  Also, FIRST time seeing a film in 70mm IMAX!!!!

I’m sorry… people were going crazy over this? GDT, Mia… you know I love you… but this was just a good movie. No one except Oscar ACTED in this.

Well… this didn’t age well…

Better than I expected. The beginning and end soundtracks were pretty interesting but I liked the suspense the whole time.
