> *“Do you ever get the feeling that people are incapable of not caring?”* Brendan Fraser, Hong Chau, Sadie Sink and Samantha Morton. A powerhouse ensemble. Every single performance was phenomenal and deeply memorable. This one’s a heavy watch, but its real message is beautiful: humans need connection, and you’re never too broken to love or be redeemed.

> *“In the face of overwhelming odds, I'm left with only one option. I'm gonna have to science the shit out of this!”* Highly entertaining from start to finish! The whole cast gave fantastic performances but Matt Damon truly stole the show — he captured Mark Watney’s humor, wit, and intelligence perfectly. I liked that instead of focusing on lonely desperation, Ridley Scott chose to present the film as a powerful showcase of global teamwork and human compassion. I also can’t forget the rescue scene; I genuinely got goosebumps watching it unfold. Safe to say, I liked this one! (Also, the Iron Man references were top tier.)

While I appreciated the beautiful cinematography and powerful acting by Ethan Hawke and Amanda Seyfried, the film as a whole simply didn't connect with me. Unfortunately, it felt a bit tedious for most of the runtime, and by the end, I just felt nothing.
