Sing Sing

Fuck man if there’s a film everyone should watch it’s this one.  Absolute powerhouse performance of a lifetime from Colman Domingo.  I’m yet to see a film capture bittersweet as brilliantly as this, even just in the title.  Fabulous script I mean the Oscars really have lost my faith after more than robbing this generational film. The last 15 minutes are something special. I’m man enough to admit I was tearing up throughout the film, but those last 15 minutes broke me down completely. A film so good even the reveal in the credits of being played by “himself” for all the inmates in the RTA program hits harder than most film plots. Finding it hard not to say something corny af about this but just go watch it seriously.
