First Reformed

This movie was really beautiful and haunting; it also definitely increased the climate anxiety that's been bubbling in my head for the past couple of years. The line, “Despair is a development of pride so great, it chooses its own certitude over admitting God is more creative than we are.” almost brought me to tears. What else can we do except depend on God's creativity and hope that he will forgive us?
