“Of all the cabbies in L.A. I get Max, Sigmund Freud meets Dr. Ruth”. Since today is Tom Cruise’s birthday, I had to watch another action banger with him. “Collateral” is absolutely amazing, thrilling and exciting, it keeps you on the edge of your seat during the whole time. Michael Mann was able to capture the beauty of Los Angeles’ nights just like he did on “Heat”, he made it look beautiful while a lot putting a lot of action and adrenaline on the screen. Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx were so good, the chemistry of their characters reminded me a lot of Al Pacino and DeNiro in “Heat”.

“Survival is a long shot.” Maybe I’m an easy person to please (I don’t think I’m), or I just really love dinosaurs and this franchise (guilty as charged). “Jurassic World Rebirth” for me is the best one of the reboots and the closest we’ve got to the old ones that I really like, the scrip was predictable, I found out who was going to live and who was going to die as soon as the characters popped up on the screen but the visual and the dinosaurs were breathtaking. The T-Rex and the Quetzalcoatlus sequences were great and I LOVED the Titanosaurus scene, it reminded me a lot from the original “They're moving in herds...They do move in herds” scene and I couldn’t help but to smile throughout the whole film. 2025 Ranked

Unexpected and chaotic, during the whole thing I didn’t know what to feel or who to cheer for, because we all know that there’s no good guy in this story. “Uncut Gems” is a raw depiction of how money is the worst part of our society, it’s the thing that corrupts and destroy ourselves and our relationships. Josh and Bennie Safdie directed the hell out of this film and I loved it, also Adam Sandler put up a great performance, I’d love to see him in more roles that would challenge him.
