Dune

A fantastic beginning! This is genuinely one of the best all round films I’ve seen. It’s got a stacked cast who all perform really well, stunning visuals, a great score and a really enticing plot.  The plot was genuinely really good. With a lot of these types of films I can find them to be a bit tedious, like you need to know everything about film before watching it. However with this it explains it really well. Fantastic world building and I really enjoyed the relationships. It felt like every action and line was intentional and if it didn’t add to the story it wasn’t there.  Timothée Chalamet is sensational. He has a presence in this film. He’s quite in the beginning but grows in confidence and develops really well. This kid is gonna go far.  This film sets up the series fantastically. I’m excited to watch more.
