Arrival

I watched this in cinemas as a 14 year old and thought “how do I become an expert linguist?” I watch this today as a 23 year old and think “how did Amy Adams not get an Oscar nom for this?” Can’t decide if the implication that free will doesn’t exist is soothing or distressing.
