Prisoners

Prisoners is a like nothing else. It’s a near perfect film, everything down to the last minute. The cast consists of Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhall, Paul Dano and many more. Hugh Jackman in my opinion gives the best performance of his career and one of the best ever. Jake Gyllenhall and Paul Dano both give perfect performances. Cinematography was absolutely perfect, from the opening scene to the closing. This dark crime thriller keeps you on the edge of your seat all throughout. From the infamous “Where’s my daughter” scene all the way to when the credits roll when we hear the faint whistle. Denis Villaneuve gives us yet another truly phenomenal movie. If you’ve enjoyed dark crime thrillers like Zodiac and Se7en, you will absolutely love Prisoners.
