i can feel that title drop coming and i know its gonna be an all-timer

tom kenny as mussolini might be THE casting choice ever

how did the narrator say all that shit without laughing

i'm cognizant to the flaws this film has. there's a good portion of very ham-fisted dialogue, oscar isaac is generally a bit weird, a couple goofy cgi moments, there's a few narrative changes from the book that ultimately affect what this story was intended to mean. i'm not too concerned. this is a ridiculously dramatic and visually outstanding film that wonderfully retells one of the greatest stories of all time. i can revel in the bare-faced expository dialogue because everything else that gets said is so ridiculous anyway, why should i care? so so pleased that elordi took out the critic's choice for this. i think ultimately sean penn is prob going to take home the oscar but elordi in this film is a feat to be recognised. singlehandedly changed my perspective on him as an actor. my bad white boy.
