i’m unwell still. movie so good i had to hit a face palm cry when it ended. grateful i watched this in the comfort of my home…
what really gets me is the way that this story has prevailed and continued the legacy of loss for this family. grief really is just the strongest form of love prevailing. the way that his pain was able to allow people (for years to come) a chance to unite their pain and see it reflected. when they all reached out their hand it was a symbol of community. we’ve all had to grieve something in some way or another.
i couldn’t help but think about how many people i’ve lost in my life, and how i’d do anything to take that spot for them. “i give you my life”. losing them has inspired ways for me to use art to continue their legacy. films like this keep the emotion of grief alive!!!
this deserves every award under the sun. every aspect of it was brilliant! the score, the costumes, the paul mescal slutty earring (excellent choice), the acting????????
gonna go cry more now bye
