Falling Down
I see a man driven by the ways of the world. Consumerism has taken its course, and the life of William Foster will never be forgotten. This film, in many ways, predicts the upcoming years of inflation and how America isn't the American dream that was promised. I thoroughly enjoyed this film as a constant consumer myself, and it changed the way I view the world and how doing things you regret will hurt you in the long run. It was quite interesting to see how a man changes from a down-to-earth, relatable working man to a mentally unstable, violent figure who is not a hero, but a man who loses his grip on reality and identity. "I'm the bad guy?" I started to feel for the guy, but after what was done, in reality, his life was over when it began.
