Backrooms

i got IDed at the cinema but i didn’t let that stop me so i finally snuck in to another cinema and watched it and it was actually really good!! i had low expectations only because o thought the whole backrooms thing would be hard to make into a film without losing its charm but i think it was done really well!! the cinematography was so beautiful and it felt a lot like that weird 2010s early 2020s time period and every clip felt like i had been there before which is kinda the intention i know but it was really comforting, i also think that they really kept the whole ominous feel and kept it a phycological horror as opposed to loads of cheap jumpscares but still made it entertaining enough to watch a whole movie of it. 0.5 stars reduced however because where tf was level you cheated 😡
