mother!
The reason this movie is rated low is because it ultimately comes down to people not understanding it. I was left with a feeling of helplessness, uselessness, disgust, sadness, anger, and frustration throughout the entire film.
Definitely one of the most unsettling, yet beautiful films I’ve ever seen. Not only because of Jennifer Lawrence (Mother Nature) and Javier Bardem (God) ‘s outstanding performances, but because it makes you THINK, and forces you to connect the dots throughout the movie.
