The whole discourse around this being pro war is completely unfounded imo. Did the soldiers cheer when they killed the Iraqis? Did they wave the Americans flag or talk about how much they missed their families? The movie explicitly demonstrated the American use of Iraq translators as fodder and suppression of Iraqi families in their own home. I think to right a wrong you need to understand it first, and portraying said wrongs accurately are the first step.
