Scream
Rewatching this with my 18-year-old niece for her first time was such a full-circle moment. Watching her react to scenes that feel legendary to us now; the opening kill, gasping and laughing at all the right moments, yelling at the screen when someone blatantly ignores the rules it reminded me why this movie hit so hard in the first place.
And when the killer reveal happened? A loud, completely unfiltered “WTF” echoed through the room.
Her final thoughts were “I can see why this is considered a classic”
Safe to say, we’ve got a new fan.
