what kind of sick fucking joke is this edit: “A Heterosexual Movie by Gregg Araki” don’t trust his lies after seeing four of his movies atp, I think gregg araki’s becoming one of my favorite directors ever. there’s always this insane feeling, a hyperactive free romantic feeling violently running and thrashing around in a cruel world, with characters doing whatever they can to be heard. knows how to play with the camera in a way that lets you either take in all the beauty or completely hold your breath. the doom generation is when im really starting to get araki’s game here. its a full ride of sex and violence and weird and nonsensical and sorta emotional shit that’s really unexplainable until you see it, but it REALLY takes advantage of its super short runtime. it’s fun! it’s fuck! it’ll make you say jesus fucking christ and close your eyes! i love how people say classic 90s “knuckle sandwich” level stuff while going through 90s chucke-cheese level places while doing the craziest edgiest thing you’ve ever seen in your life! the entire movie is an awesome vibe and I may or may not make this my personality for a while. if you read this and ever feel like seeing it, PLEASE make sure you get the 1h 23m version. apparently people had to deal with a weird cut one for decades until araki remastered it last year, im so glad i was able to grab that. “Wake up and smell the cappuccino, GEEK!”
