Gladiator

The roman empire and its stories are always so intriguing and fun to watch on screen. This movies writing is beautiful from the beginning to end. Commodus one of the antagonists I dislike the most in all of cinema, played greatly by Juaquin Phoenix. With Crowe opposing him, this makes for one of the greatest action movies ever.
