For me this would’ve been way scarier if it was a film rather than a mockumentary. For some reason with a mockumentary I just know none of this happened so it doesn’t feel real or high stakes. Also not a huge fan of ghost stuff. One good scene at lake mungo towards the end though. Jules: 2.5/5 Eliza: 0.5/5 - not a mockumentary fan

Such a cool looking movie with good performances throughout. Wish I knew more about the political backdrop before starting it as I was confused for a lot of it and there were many hidden plots which weren’t obvious at all. After googling the story the movie jumped up to a 3.5 and I feel like I would enjoy it a lot more on rewatch. Still, I had a few issues with the pacing as some of it was very slow and I was confused throughout the majority. Jules: 3.5/5 Eliza: 3/5

Used to absolutely love this movie. The editing is sooo behind now though and does feel very budget 2010s. Still love the scenes where he first takes NZT and it really made me want it to lock in. Jules: 3.5/5 Eliza: 3/5

Feel like this had a lot of potential. Russel Crowe was insane and the standout character by far. Remi Malek's character did not make much sense and the humanising of the Nazi's wasn't received particularly well. Jules: 3.5/5 Olive: 3/5
