i could write a whole damn essay about this movie

the most corporate ass movie i've ever seen

it's simultaneously incredibly generic but also lowkey batshit crazy and unrealistic (ik ik it's a kids movie but some things still pissed me off) i like the message and all the cute animals tho

my rating is obviously a bit biased but i genuinely loved every second of this at first i thought the 3D thing was kind of a gimmick but turns out my cinema messed up and the first few minutes weren't calibrated correctly or something so everything looked super weird and i almost got scared lol, but i have to admit the effect was pretty cool once they fixed it my only nitpick is the editing at some points, especially the sound editing. they do this thing were you can here the audience members when the camera is on them and it feels a bit jarring how abruptly their voices get cut off again as soon as they're not on screen anymore idk there are a lot of moments where the audience volume is amplified and it works beautifully it's just those moments where it's just a specific section where imo it doesn't always work. anyways that's obviously high level nitpicking and didn't take away from my enjoyment the whole thing actually made me fucking sad because it reminds me that i will never be able to see billie live for the first time again when i saw her on tour last year
