i have been saying for years that coogler will make an incredible film as soon as he gets out of the franchise system, and man did he ever. a true ode to the genre film, a celebration of music and culture, has its issues but i couldn’t care less. #THANKYOU ryan coogler for saving cinema

quite mild overall. mildly funny. mildly exciting. mildly loud theater experience. it seems like they had fun making it which is what really matters. wish they included the great mineplex vs. hypixel war of the mid 2010’s
