great time in imax! super cute!

confusing at times, but beautifully shot and performed. i don’t have all the context i need to really understand this movie, but i find it interesting that the only father/son duo to stay intact was the italian guy who puts the hit out on armando. wonder if that’s a commentary about how regular citizens, criminals, and even street level officers were victims in comparison to the rich and powerful?

better than i thought it would be, but i am very much not a fan of the book and im still very offended. also visually really disappointing-all of emerald fennell’s typical edgelord shit with none of the aesthetic value. jacob elordi played heathcliff so well against all odds.

i was captivated the whole time but i am finding it hard to pin down what i really felt. i appreciated the subtlety in the performances of all 4 lead actors. will likely benefit from a rewatch
