WHAT. I can't even put up words just to describe how i feel about this movie. As someone who also cares to make even a slight change in this world THIS FILM HITS ME SO HARD. I really don't get the average rate, this film was SPECTACULAR. Some reviews it because their teachers made them watch this in their class..i mean I can't judge them, but the meaning behind this film is sooo much more.
It's about humanity, injustice or even bullying (which still happens a lot nowadays) some people might say "well in the movie they recover from it" NO. Do you even watch the movie? I'm sorry but Ms. G literally explain what could have been. Even if they recover, does that makes your actions valid? It's still not okay
When they say "we protect our own" and i was like "how about we protect that is human?" And i just simply love this movie because they showed the change between the students. The students acts were amazing, i mean i really don't notice how every person acts, but this film touched my heart. When Ms. G was speaking to Andre, and he shed tears just like that...wow. that's so good??
The part where a kid read his diary infront the class, and says "I'm home" I WAS CRYING SO HARD. A school should feel this way, a school should be a home for those who doesn't have one, or feel they're not home yet. A school wasn't just an education, it's also about social, and this film shows it ;). And I can't comprehend why some people just do it in the first place, be racist towards anyone. It's not ok hey? Even though it's a joke, well u ain't funny ❤️
The husbad was a coward. What the fuck? Why?? Is he insecure? SHE'S HELPING. And he's not. He's insecure by that? As he should<3 ah, and i was shocked when he says "you love the idea of me" OH OK WOW i relate to that sentence (not him)
And it's based on real life, wow. It's really a nice story to me, Ms. G create a family, a bond that they probably would never forget
