Is this the greatest film of all time or was it just cause I was high (병)든 지(구) By intertwining the film's individual and collective stories drawing past traumas and nihilist future outlooks. Also has a really good score and soundtrack so It casually creates some of the most best montages I’ve seen in a film and goes full on 2001 space odyssey mode at one point lolThis film better hit the same on a sober rewatch and I will now make sure to see yorgos' remake bugonia in cinemas.

“It wasn’t him I loved. It was the chase.”Breh A very neatly done sentimental piece of cinema and in general just a better film compared to Paprika and Perfect blue. Bonus points for the Kurosawa references.The conceptually ambitious and unique nature of those films at least in comparison to Millennium Actress made them come across as quite self indulgent as the stories progressed. So for me both of those films didn’t come off as profound as they initially could’ve been.

Performative and frail Italian nonchalance!? I’m sure when I’m slaving away in a 9-5 in 5 years time that this become a 10 on a rewatch :)
