*i have a thing for strays* hola yo también

not even joking this is a masterpiece, the animation is so smooth and characteristic in a time when it wasnt as easy to animate. and the character design is so clever, truly gorgeous, like for example the oracle being hairdresses or eris' name referencing ares, the god of war. in short, sooo ahead of its time and so fundamental to any young girls mind

end apartheid!!!!! sososo good. i dont know why everyones being so stuck up about it, when i think the plot is quite simple and understandable (yet theres little references or meanings a bit harder to catch, which i love because it truly makes you ruminate). i loved how they turned the backrooms, a creepypasta that started as a sort of illogical place, into a beautiful film about the past and how the human brain holds onto trauma while still keeping the eerie feeling of the original backrooms. also you can Definitely tell how much kane parsons loved doing this with the way its filmed and the artistic choices, such as clothes and sets, that are so important to the worldbuilding. in a time when the rise of ai seems inevitable, true artists showing love for the craft is revolutionary. i truly loved every aspect of it and despite what ive heard i dont believe that the characters are dull, just that the movie trusts that the viewer understands the context of their actions, like how violent and unreliable clark was or how he was absorbed in his own pity that his 'evil version' consumed him! (the same way he was consuming his wife and the other characters who inhabited the backrooms without a care). thats why he found a home in his hostility, in an alive office building that let him do whatever he wanted and just submitted to it. i also love the theory that the dinner scene is a memory from his wife thats why she resembles a pray animal and why the captain is so aggressive.

that ginger bob controlling women like a hive mind making them Desperate!!!!!!
