Dreams
Truly life changing,This is probably Kurosawas most honest and most personal work, and i would lie if i said this didn‘tChange me as a Person and all my World views. The narrative of this Movie is so interesting and unique with 8 of not interconnecting short storys which are all real Dreams of kurosawa. Even tough these dont connect with eachother they Portray Childhood events, Fears, Traumas, Hopes, or kurosawas interaction with van gogh. This film is realy a deep look into his soul and each of the 8 Dreams deserve their own Review tbh. The ending alsl feels like the Ending of an era, With the old man telling that aging isn‘t so bad after all. Korusawa looks back on his Life and i think he is Proud, after all he is Probably the most influencel Artist of his Generation. With him being one of my favorite Directors i oviously LOVE this film to death.I could yap more about the Cinematography and interpretation of each of the Dreams, but i am better of keeping this to myself.Overall an absolute Masterclass of a Motion Picture and probably my Favorite Kurosawa Film.Rest in peace Akira Kurosawa, you truly were the Goat
