I obviously knew it was going to be a pretty bad film so I didn’t have high hopes at all. I had to skip forward a lot of parts due to the sheer second hand embarrassment I experienced and overall I just hated the main character. I get that they were trying to make a manipulative psycho girl but I just didn’t like how they made it. I suppose ot started off…okay? But then it just went downhill from there as soon as the whole school thing started and it was overall very predictable.

This film had an interesting concept. I mean it followed 4 different emotional cornerstones with them being happiness, pleasure, sorrow and love. I liked the concept but I felt like it needed more and that it should’ve been longer than 95 minutes to fully grasp the whole concept they were doing. The overall vibe of the film was something I really enjoyed along with the music. Overall a well made film with a thoughtful concept that needs a bit more work and time to be better.

Wow. Was my first emotion after coming out of the cinema. I probably went through every possible emotion throughout watching this film and my heart was racing like crazy towards the end. The film was so interestingly made but I can’t really explain in what way. The cinematography, the locations, the cgi, the everything was obviously outstanding. I’m not the most familiar with the Greek story surrounding this fiilm and I won’t say this film was perfect but I think it’s better to love a film with it’s flaws rather than love it with overlooking all the flaws. The three hours passed at a great pace and not once did I find myself bored or distracted by anything else during this film. Christopher Nolan never ceases to amaze me along with the great cast whose acting was obviously top notch. Again pointing out the cinematography since it was truly incredible and I’m amazed by how the whole film looked and how it was all made to look so beautiful. The action throughout the film was something I also enjoyed a lot along with the story and emotions portrayed throughout it all. Overall definitely an oscar worthy film in my book that I’ll think over in my head during the next couple of weeks.

This is a very interesting and though provoking film that quite literally makes you go through a rollercoaster of emotions. The film feels slow paced and doesn’t have a grand story to tell but instead has more deep and meaningful message. It shows how people can suddenly change and and not everything always stays the same. The film showed some elements of a dark comedy while also portraying a more tragic and depressing story. At first it confused me a lot until I kept watching it and seeing it all unfold and escalate in a sort of petty and sad way. The cinematography is excellent along with the location and obviously the acting is top notch. Overall a well made film that is more slow paced and doesn’t have the usual huge story to tell which I enjoyed more than I thought I would.
