I'm really disappointed honestly, I've loved this song for years, it stayed beside me during those times where I was figuring out my own sexuality, and to see such a banal story linked to a title that formed a generation of sapphic women makes me not only unhappy but mad.

I cherish these two with my whole heart, I truly can't find another pair that works as perfectly in terms of friendships and lovers at the same time. The first movie showed us how beautiful their friendship could be, it built up a base for their true feelings and showed in different ways just how much they needed each other. This movie however really portrayed the reality of a relationship. Care is shown differently between two people, and one way to make sure that caringness was understood is to express it in words. That's something extremely difficult to operate sometimes. These two showed how to understand each other's love for one another through little things, that's what made these two perfect for each other. Even if you wouldn't call this a happy ending for their friendship, you can still see and unknowledge how deep these two are for each other, as friends and soulmates. The key to this perfection is the emotion, the mutual love and care they have for each other despite the difficulties both of them had to face. Words are the only way human beings can express their feelings, this movie showed that there are other things that can work even better.
