not casting marcel the shell with shoes on in the rocky role was a big miss this is fantastic big budget sci fi movie making. stunning visual, high stakes, and beautiful moments of sincerity. theres like an hour 15 minute stretch in this movie that is unreal. great movie theater experience, but the ending felt too prolonged. ik its based on a book but it felt like they didnt know how to close it.
