overall this movie was so damn good. i went into it with pretty average expectations because i’m not really into this kind of movie. it honestly surprised me in the best way possible. i wasn’t bored for a single second. odysseus was tuff as hell lmaooo. huge bonus points for the cast (especially tom holland). also, i genuinely think they should’ve marketed it as a horror instead of an adventure fantasy. like be fr… the witch scene? or the giant?? i literally had to cover my eyes. i’m so happy i watched it and now i kinda regret not seeing it in imax

matt damon was really funny in this role. i remember watching it with my parents on tv when i was younger, and it really stuck with me. i mean, what other movie has an astronaut growing potatoes on mars?

the only good thing about this movie was mason thames. let’s be real. it was so boring, and i didn’t care about her mom’s storyline with jonah at all. overall, it was badly made, the acting wasn’t very good, and even though the idea wasn’t bad, the execution was really poor
