This film is amazing I should've watched this sooner. John hurt's performance is amazing and in my opinion he should've won the Oscar over De Niro and I love Robert de Niro. Also such an emotional movie I almost cried watching this. This being in black and white really sets the mood and I love that so much. Just a phenomenal film definitely will rewatch soon.

I'm not super religious or anything but this film is so good. I thought this film wasn't gonna be the best because I don't really hear people talk about this film but it was amazing. Every Scorsese film that I've watched so far has not disappointed me at all.
