Bugonia

Actually very impressed by this, an introduction for me to Yorgos. A movie filled with a truly brilliant dual-performance who, for me are frontrunners. Such a convincing performance of delusion from Plemons who you can always trust for a weird character representation, and obviously Stone who has proved her mettle multiple times. This one had me engrossed and guessing the entire time. Not often do you feel so glued to the screen, no doubt written this way on purpose, the final reveal being the coin flip result which has been in the air for 2 hours. These character that are built up in your head for the two hours are flipped on their heads. You realise, he was right. You realise, she was an alien. This only reinforces my admiration for the acting, writing and ultimately has only made me want to watch the original even more. Soon come.
