Billy Elliot

I absolutely adore this movie, every time I watch it. The acting of Jamie Bell was brilliant, he was so expressive in his eyes and simple movements. I felt every emotion in his scenes. I love it even more just seeing how Jackie and Tony eventually become so supportive of Billy and how they want a better future for him than they have. I cried during the scene between Tony and Jackie at the mines, how Jackie went back to the job even after feeling so strongly about the strike for his son, was so touching. The scene of Jackie running after finding out Billy was accepted into the school was everything, and when Tony and Jackie are sending Billy off makes me tear up every time. But the final sequence of Tony and Jackie travelling to London to see Billy dance is definitely my favourite, I loved seeing the way Jackie seems lost in his own world and the world around him while Tony is rushing to get to the performance in time. Though I do constantly get distracted anytime Tony was on the screen.
