The light a smile paints across a person’s face is so attractive.. I don’t think i’ve ever seen someone become ugly when they smile, that genuine smile shows a person at their most natural.. The naturalness of this film is wonderful.. If Clara Bow wanted to become an actress today, people would probably call her unattractive because she has a slight double chin, her nose isn’t tiny enough, her cheeks are a little chubby, and faint wrinkles appear when she smiles; in short, because she doesn’t have that plastic-looking appearance and i’m 100% sure of it.. On the contrary, imperfections make people so much more beautiful, and honestly, i don’t even see the things i listed as flaws, though many people do.. The way the man constantly loses his ability to speak whenever he’s talking to her… that’s love. Not touching, not kissing, not saying it out loud; love hides in the little details.. And loving despite everything, finding that attraction unchanged despite everything.. The girls’ hairstyles are lovely, the dresses, the English expressions and manner of speaking… In silent films, there is actually more hidden in the details because there are no spoken words Gülümsemenin insanın yüzünde çizdiği aydınlık o kadar çekici ki..

Brilliant. i’m not even going to say anything about the acting, look at the cast.. i never expected it to turn out like this, and the ending was great too.. i thought it wouldn’t be able to recreate the feeling i get when reading Agatha Christie, but there was a similar sense of excitement while watching it Müthiş.

The way the film portrays two completely opposite sides of human nature at the same time affected me deeply.. Most films pick a side; when morality is the subject, they either focus on the brighter side of humanity or its darker side.. But here, we get to see the darker side of goodness as well.. ***“To my dying day, I’ll never understand Willi. Or what he did. First he tried to kill us all with his torpedoes. Nevertheless we fished him out of the sea, took him aboard, shared everything we had with him. You would’ve thought he’d have been grateful. Then he… he let poor old Gus die of thirst.. What do you do to people like that?”*** People can’t overcome either the goodness or the evil within themselves.. On one hand, there are people compassionate enough to save someone who had just tried to kill them.. On the other, there is a kind of cruelty that remains unchanged despite every act of kindness shown to it.. And both exist in the same world, within the same humanity.. In that situation, the only way to deal with evil seems to be evil itself, unfortunately.. Ughh, whatever i couldn't write the review, turned into a mess.. Maybe i’ll rewrite it another time Filmde insan doğasının birbirine tamamen zıt iki yönünün aynı anda bu kadar güçlü gösterilmesi beni çok etkiledi..

The only thing i like abt this film is the way he loved his wife
