You’re not supposed to hear it, you’re supposed to feel it. The momentous sound design has been on loop inside my head since I saw this (The voices are getting louder), i genuinely have never been in such a trance from this nightmarish yet joyous atmosphere of such an isolating desert while my heart was the kick drum racing through these mountains. Everyone is clearly desperate for a family in this film, running from something in their life to become a true expression of oneself, their connection lies within the music. It’s not the destination that counts but the friends you make along the way. ☝️
