"what was it, a phone interview?" would have made me break up with nate on the spot wtf

delightfully a hard watch! although i don’t relate (and i don’t mean this in an gloating way) to grace’s consistently poor and shortsighted decision making - i found it really interesting. what can i say? i love stories about confused women. women making decisions and maybe regretting them but deciding to live on any ways (the worst person in the world drivel hahaha) i think many people, rightfully, leave mile end kicks with many questions about grace being deeply enamoured by chevy and her decision making. but like she’s 22 with a skewed sense of self and permable boundaries. i like that nothing worked out for her completely - it’s a nice divergence from many films of the coming-of-age genre that seeks that perfect bow ending. it ends in an hopeful but of course leaving a lot of space to be written. anyways, i really looked forward to this one for awhile as i wasn't able to see in theatres but this was worth the wait! also this like made me want blackberries but they are so fucking expensive womp womp
