Wow wow wow Chloé Zhao and Łukasz Żal really know how to make my brain go brrrr when it comes to composition. My god, so many beautiful and heart wrenching shots. Paul Mescal saying goodbye to his son, telling him to be brave, so incredible. The wide shot of Jessie Buckley watching her son go at the Globe Theatre literally broke me. Just incredible. As always Emily Watson is a treasure, I’ll love anything she’s in. If there are no Emily Watson fans left, then I have died.  Jacobi Jupe also did such a good job. I usually can’t get behind child actors but that little man really carried the second act on his fucking shoulders.
