I’m a bit disappointed honestly, I was thrilled for this movie about sisterhood, femininity and creative witchcraft, but I feel like it was a bit plain. The characters are not that well written and what could’ve been a great plot (the whole Pickle story line) was not exploited enough. Also I wish the dad had made a real cruel thing to deserve that, because it would’ve been more interesting, and would’ve given more credit to Apple being a final girl. Also the Pumkin is a traitor was a bit predictable, maybe amplified with the « she is not a real fruit ».  A good point was how they exploited the witch part, with the clothes items and their figure : Marilyn Monroe.

I’m not ashamed to say that the first season was better than The boys. But the second season was less good. The plot of sups wanting to control the world because they are « better » was logical, but Marie being the chosen one with the odessa project completely remove something from her character.
