dont know if this is the post-humous perspective of chadwick or my frontal lobe developing but idk what i was doing with the 3.5 the first go around. genuinely dont know how this film could be any better. chadwick was such a presence on screen man that shit makes me tear up every time. my respect for MBJ has gone through the roof over time. go down the list of cast members and its just hitter after hitter. no better queen than ms bassett. ending on that "who are you?" and cutting to all the stars still gives me chills. i remember sitting in theater and felt like that was a spiritual experience. gotta give coogler his props man. taking a Marvel script and sprinkling in african-american culture and the lines Killmonger dropped throughout. just a great time front start to finish. rip chadwick and (if the rumors are true) cant wait to see what Damson does with this role. HUGE potential from one of my favorite actors
